Mangalore, Dec 09: The Ullal police on Monday arrested three accused involved in selling banned MDMA drugs at Thachani near Talapadi on the Kerala-Karnataka border and seized 42 grams of MDMA worth two lakh rupees from the accused.

The arrested accused are Abdul Rauf (30) of Talapadi Kolangere in Ullal taluk, Sharif alias Amin (34) of Chembugudde near Thokkottu, and Niaz (24) of Sankesh House in Kinya village in Ullal taluk, who had come to buy MDMA. Another accused, Salam, a resident of Bengre in Panambur, is absconding.
A case has been registered against the arrested accused at Ullal police station under the NDPS Act 1985, and the Ullal police have seized the Toyota Glanza car, three mobile phones, Rs 2500 in cash, a weighing scale, and ziplock covers used by the accused in the crime.
