Reena Shetty, while addressing the audience commented on the history of International women's day Celebrations. In our country number of women in higher post, Government offices are less. Women need to be empowered and rise with their hidden talents and come to the limelight in the society.
Dr. Usha Prabha. Nayak, emphasized that Education is most important part of every human life. Any child should not be deprived of education. Women should change within and be self-empowered. She can decide herself what she needs and what she can do for the society. Women should always come in forefront.
Prof. Hilda Rayappan, a senior most lady personality devoted to the protection of women and ch"dren's rights and the sensitization of the society. She told in her speech that we should not differentiate between women land men in terms of extending certain facilities. They should be allowed to be at par with men.
