Mangaluru: Department of BCA, University Evening College, Mangaluru Celebrated “Cyber Jagrookta Diwas” on Monday the 17th October 2022 at Shivarama Karantha Bhavana.
Resource person Naveen chandra Kumar– Assistant Professor, Dept of Electronics, Mangalore University in his most interesting session gave an awareness talk about how to protect against cyber attacks, sensitize the general public, and become a cyber aware workforce. It is very important to follow Digital Hygiene and prevention to get oneself protected from Cyber crime.
Dr. Subhashini Srivathsa, Principal of University Evening College, Mangaluru presided over the function and revealed that though mobile has become a breathing air, our mind can be conscious, sharper, safe and controlled by keeping away from mobile.
Dr. Yathish Kumar, Co-ordinator of GST Diploma told the present is digital magic which has blinded humans and the time has come to keep our eyes open and alert.
Riyaz, BCA Lecturer composed the programme. Raghavendra, commerce lecturer welcomed the guests. Prayer was invoked by Yashwitha and group. Venkatesh K G, BCA Lecturer proposed the vote of thanks. Teaching and Non Teaching Faculty and Students were present during the programme.
