Mangaluru: Electoral Literacy Club of University Evening College, Mangaluru organized a talk on voting registration on January 3rd 2023 at 6.30pm in Shivaram Karantha Bhavana. Resource Person Pradeep Shenoy, Village Administrative Officer, Kodialbail, Mangaluru, explained the importance of Constitution in his talk. He addressed the students regarding new enrollment, deletion and correction by using Voter Helpline App.
President of the ceremony Dr. Subhashini Srivathsa, Principal, University Evening College, Mangaluru in her Presidential Remark conveyed that our country has independence, democratic and adult franchise. India is a nation popularly and uniquely identified for its constitutional ideologies. Each and every citizen of nation has to compulsorily vote as they attain age of 18 and elect the right leader to lead the democracy.
The programme was organized by the Electoral Literacy Club , Soumya , I BA composed the programme. Pavithra ,Dept. of Economics introduced the guest and welcomed the gathering. Ganesh- II BA invoked Lords blessings. Arjun- I BA proposed the Vote of Thanks . The teaching, non-teaching staff and students witnessed the programme.
