Master Chintan, a talented magic artist who has won many state and national awards, has died of a long illness.

He was 36 years old.

Master Chinthan was a famous magician, at the age of 11 started learning from his father and also senior magician from Kasargod Prof. Madhav, President of the North Malabar Magic Foundation. Later on he was a disciple of famous magician Kudroli Ganesh.
Master Chinthan, who specializes in the magic of magipulation, which requires immense finesse, was the first Kannadiga to win Kerala's prestigious Valakkunnam Award in 1994.

He won several awards, including the first prize in the 1997 Udupi Gili Gili Magic Conference and also in Junior Part of the Wisayam Magic Conference in Thiruvananthapuram in 1998.

He was honoured at the Interstate Magic Conference held in Bangalore. More than hundred magic shows have been performed by him across South India.

Famous magician Kudroli Ganesh, Mangala Magic Circle President Swarna Sundar, Delhi's Maj Ma Organization President Raj Kumar, theater director Jeevan Ram Suliah, various magical organizations in Karnataka, state and national magicians have expressed their condolences.

Master Chintan was an alumnus of Moodabidri Alva's Pre-College and Sri Annapoorneshwari High School, Kasaragod Agalpady.
