Bengaluru: A new rule has been implemented at Kempegowda Airport in Bangalore. Entry of yellow board cars has been restricted in Terminal 1 from today. Airport officials have informed about this. Yellow board cars will not be allowed to enter Terminal 1. This ban has been imposed at the airport's pick-up point. Officials said that arrangements have been made for P3 and P4 parking for unorganized yellow board cars.

Passengers will be informed about this through a mini loudspeaker (Public Address System). Airport staff have instructed yellow board cars to park in P3, P4. Only white board vehicles are allowed to enter. Car drivers have been warned not to make any noise about this. White board vehicles are also allowed to park in Terminal 1 for the first 8 minutes. If it exceeds 8 minutes, that is, for another 5 minutes, a fine of Rs 150 will be imposed. Then a warning will be given. If this is ignored and the parking is continued for another 5 minutes, a fine of Rs 150 will be imposed.

This rule will come into effect from today itself. Airport staff have said that no car drivers should be bothered about this. They have asked the police to ensure that there is no disturbance at the airport in this regard.
