March 13th Mangalore : One day workshop on “ Laboratory for B.Sc Mathematics - An introduction to Scilab/Maxima ” was held at Dr.P. Dayananda Pai - P. Sathisha Pai Govt. First Grade College Mangalore, Carstreet. The workshop was organised jointly by Department of Mathematics and FORMAT of Mathematics Teachers in Colleges of Mangalore University. The Programme was inaugurated by Dr. Narahari N , Asst. Professor, University College of Science, Tumkur. In his inaugurated speech, he motivated the teachers with his encouraging the words and said “Work with confidence and you will achieve the desired results”. Prof. Rajashekar Hebbar C, Principal in his presidential remark said “Nothing is permanent on earth except change and change is the only reality in nature ”.
