Puttur, Jan 17: The shocking incident took place on Jan 17, 2023 in her house varanda Kampa near Mundur.
The deceased woman has been identified as Jayashree (23), daughter of D. Guruvappa and Devaki, a resident of Mundur Kampa.
It is said that a person stabbed a young woman and she died on the way to the hospital. Jayashree was earlier working in Dharmasthala Village Development Project and had left work for some time and was staying at home.
The body of the young woman has been kept in the government hospital of Puttur and the Sampya police have arrived and are probing into the incident.
