Thane, May 28: An unidentified man attacked a doctor travelling in a train and snatched a mobile phone worth Rs 1.29 lakh and fled the scene. The incident took place near Dativali railway station.
The young doctor was travelling in the Dadar-Hubballi Express. As the train was approaching Dativali, an unidentified man hit his hand, causing his iPhone to fall.
The attacker then picked up the mobile phone and fled the scene. The doctor's hand was injured and he was treated and later lodged a complaint, police said.
A case has been registered by the police and an investigation is underway.
