Paris: A shocking incident has taken place in the French capital, Paris. Masked thieves came on scooters and stole precious jewels from the Louvre Museum using a disc cutter before fleeing. "The thieves entered the museum from the outside using a cherry picker (a machine similar to a hydraulic ladder) and stole the precious jewels. The whole incident was completed in just seven minutes," he said.

The robbery was carried out by three to four men. They targeted two exhibitions in the Apollo Gallery. The museum had been inspected before the incident. It was clear that it was the work of a professional team and that they used a disc cutter to cut the glass.
According to a report in the Parisian, nine jewels were stolen from the collection of Napoleon and the Empress. One of the stolen jewels was found broken outside the museum. The broken jewel is believed to have come from the crown of Queen Eugenie de Montijo.
