
Bangalore (July 13):- Bangalore and Bangalore urban areas have been locked up due to rising coronavirus. Bangalore will be locked up from 8pm on Tuesday to 22nd July till 5pm.
What is Available?:-
- In non-containment areas, emergency services, including government offices, health, electricity, water, medical education, police, are not restricted.
- About 50% of the staff at Bangalore Methodist, Vikasasudha and multi-storeyed offices can work.
- Non-governmental organizations, volunteers and staff of all other offices assigned to Covid-19 related operations are encouraged to work from home.
- Offices operating the necessary services, including defense, armed forces, police force, telecommunications service are open.
- The post offices, banks, payroll, accounting, financial advisors and general accounting offices will be available with minimal staff.
- All health services, all agricultural and horticultural activities are allowed to function in full measure.
- All Vegetable and Fruit Markets, Agricultural Machinery Shop, Pesticides, Seed Making, Distribution Stores are open.
- Fisheries activities, egg centers, poultry, Sunday shipping, processing and distribution of milk and milk products will be allowed.
What is Not ?:-
- State government offices and their autonomous bodies, corporations etc. are not allowed to open.
- The central government offices, its autonomous subordinate offices and public institutions are not open.
- Malls and liquor stores will be closed.
- Movie theaters are to be closed.
