Udupi:- On Sunday in Udupi 41 people including 4 children, have tested positive for Covid 19 in the district.
The total number of Covid cases has now increased to 1,608.one patient has foreign travel history to Saudi Arabia, two have travel history to Mumbai, six have inter district travel history while 32 were primary contacts who were already infected people.
On Sunday Therefore 28 patients were discharged with this the total number of patients discharged and stood at 1,273. Then 332 patients are being treated in different Covid 19 hospitals. And 18863 swab samples were tested negative out of 22,327 till Sunday.
The death of a 70 year old person from Davangere was admitted to KMC- Manipal, and it was counted in Davangere and said that it will not be added to Udupi list. The swab sample of the patient was collected after being admitted to the KMC. Later on he was shifted to covid hospital in Udupi on July 10 but he died on same night.
