A Post Graduate Level Commerce and Management Fest, “Uni fest – 2019” under the theme “Alexine” has been organized recently at the Department of Post Graduate Studies in Commerce, University College, Mangalore. Ananth G Pai, Executive Director of Bharath Beedi Works Pvt. Ltd inaugurated the programme and said that students can judge themselves by doing SWOT analysis by participating in fest and can identify their strengths and weaknesses. It helps them to prepare themselves to compete with present corporate world. Dr Uday Kumar M A, Principal, University College Mangalore, in his presidential remark said that the students participated in the fest will be awarded with experience and it will always guide them in the future.
The fest was organized for the students of Post Graduate Commerce and Management at Mangalore University level and 20 Colleges have participated in the programme. The competitions were conducted on Best Manager, Marketing, Human Resource, Finance, Quiz and Treasure Hunt.
Dr. Dayananda Naik, Finance Officer, Mangalore University, was the Chief Guest at the valedictory programme. Dr. Udaya Kumar, the Principal presided over the function. Dr.A.Siddiq, Convener of Uni fest – 2019 welcomed the gathering. Vibha B Jain gave a prologue. Student Coordinators, Deekshith G S and M Varsha V were present on the occasion.
Canara College Champion: The overall championship was bagged by the Canara College Mangalore, and A J Institute of Management, Mangalore was satisfied with the Runner-up.
