Air India, IndiGo advise passengers travelling to Dubai, Abu Dhabi

New Delhi, April 1: India’s two largest airlines, Air India and IndiGo, have issued a travel advisory for passengers travelling to Dubai, Abu Dhabi or other Gulf countries. Keeping in mind the changing situation in the Middle East, IndiGo Airlines has issued a travel advisory for passengers.

Due to the current situation in the region, flight schedules are subject to frequent changes. Therefore, all passengers are requested to check the current situation before leaving for the airport. IndiGo has clarified that the safety and convenience of passengers is the top priority.

The company’s teams are continuously monitoring the situation, as regional tensions have increased due to the Iran-Israel conflict and US intervention in the Middle East. The advisory comes at a time when airspace restrictions and flight disruptions have led to disruptions. IndiGo said that it will operate its operations without any disruptions on April 1.

The list includes flights from Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi and Bengaluru to Middle Eastern destinations like Jeddah, Madinah, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh and Muscat.

Flights are scheduled to depart from Mumbai to Madinah, 6E61 from Mumbai to Jeddah, 6E71 from Delhi to Abu Dhabi and 6E1271 from Kochi to Muscat.

More than 30 flights will operate on both sides. Passengers can check the status on the IndiGo website or app before booking and checking in. The airspace in the Gulf region has been closed due to US-Israeli attacks and retaliatory strikes by Iran.

This has forced many airlines to suspend flights to Qatar, Kuwait and some other destinations. IndiGo has reduced services on some routes but continues to operate some flights to major cities in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

30 Air India flights will operate in Gulf countries. All flights to and from North America, Europe, Australia and other regions will operate as usual.
