Ajekar, April 07: Ajekar JnanaSudha Institutions, under the aegis of Ajekar Padma Gopal Education Trust, will commemorate the Birth Centenary of Padma G. Shetty with a grand function and the inauguration of key educational facilities on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Padma Nagar, Ajekar.
The event will mark the inauguration of Ajekar JnanaSudha P.U. College and Ajekar JnanaSudha English Medium High School, further strengthening the institution’s commitment to quality education in the region.
V. Sunil Kumar, MLA of Karkala Constituency and former Minister of the Government of Karnataka, will preside over the function and unveil the idols of Goddess Sharada and Ramalalla.
Distinguished dignitaries will grace the occasion as Guests of Honour:
Dr. M. Veerappa Moily, former Chief Minister of Karnataka and former Union Minister, will inaugurate the P.U. College.
Dr. M. Mohan Alva, Chairman of Alva’s Education Foundation, will inaugurate the English Medium High School.
N. Vishal Hegde, Chancellor of Nitte Deemed-to-be University, will inaugurate the Chemistry and Computer Science Laboratories.
G. Shivarama Shetty, Honorary President and entrepreneur from Mumbai, will inaugurate the Physics and Biology Laboratories.
