Mumbai, Feb 20: Bollywood’s famous producer, director MM Baig has died mysteriously and was found in a deplorable condition at his home. He was 70 years old.
Producer Baig had been ill for some time. He lived alone, said renowned publicist Hanif Zaveri.
As Baig had not come out of the house for 4 to 5 days, the neighbors complained to the police that there was a bad smell coming from his house. Following this, the police who rushed to the spot forcibly opened the door and found Baig’s body in a decomposed state.
“When the police opened the door, they found Baig Sahab’s dead body and immediately informed his daughter about it. Later, they took his dead body to Cooper Hospital for postmortem. He was a beloved person. I pray that his departed soul rests in peace,” Hanif told reporters.
M M Baig is the father of popular child artist Baby Guddu and was involved in films like Razia Sultan and the directorial Chhoti Bahu.
