Mumbai: A fight over a trivial matter has turned into a disaster in Vasai, an area adjacent to Mumbai in Maharashtra. A shocking incident has taken place in which a man, after fighting with another man, kicked his four-year-old son and knocked him to the ground, leaving his clothes scorched.

The brutal incident took place in a housing society and was captured on CCTV.
In the video, the boy, identified as Vignesh, wearing a yellow T-shirt, can be seen playing with other children in a parked autorickshaw. The accused, Sandeep Pawar, who had a fight with the boy’s father over a trivial matter, walked up to Vignesh, grabbed his legs and pulled him out of the vehicle.
Pawar then pushed the boy to the ground to take revenge for the fight with the boy’s father. Then he attacked him on the head with an iron rod. Then he threw the boy on the road again.
The boy was rushed to a hospital on Mira Road and is currently being treated in the intensive care unit (ICU). His condition is still critical, officials said.
The accused was later arrested and a case has been registered against him under various sections, officials said.
The incident has sparked widespread outrage in the area, with residents expressing deep concern.
