New Delhi, Mar 03: In a surprise development, gas cylinder prices have been reduced in India amidst the Iran-Israel-US war.

Oil companies have reduced the price of 19 kg LPG cylinders for commercial use, and the prices have been reduced in major cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai, and the new rates have come into effect from today.
Today, the price of a 19 kg cylinder for commercial use has been reduced by Rs 28 to 31, and these prices vary from city to city. There has been no change in the price of domestic cylinders.
The price of a 19 kg cylinder in the national capital Delhi has been reduced by Rs 28. The price of a commercial cylinder, which was Rs 1768.5 in February, has come down to Rs 1740.5 this month.
Similarly, the price of a 19 kg cylinder in Kolkata has been reduced by Rs 31. The LPG cylinder, which was available for Rs 1875.5, will be available for Rs 1844.5. In Mumbai and Chennai, the price has fallen by Rs 28.5 and Rs 29.5 respectively.
LPG cylinder prices have also come down in Bengaluru, with the price of a 14.2 kg cylinder for domestic use at Rs 855, while the price of a 19 kg cylinder for commercial use has fallen to Rs 1841.
LPG prices are decided by Indian Oil Corporation, HPCL and BPCL.
