Delhi, March 28: An IndiGo flight made an emergency landing in Delhi due to an engine fault. The incident took place on a flight coming from Visakhapatnam to Delhi.
At 10:39 am today, the pilot landed the plane safely on runway 28 of Delhi’s IGI Airport. There were a total of 161 passengers on board the plane. A technical fault was detected in the plane moments before landing.
The problem occurred on IndiGo flight 6E579. As soon as the technical fault was detected, the pilot gave priority to landing and avoided danger. This is a Boeing 737 type aircraft, which has been in service for the last 15 years. Fortunately, no passengers were injured in this incident, officials said.
