Mangaluru, April 03: Milagres church celebrated Good Friday to meditate and Ponder on the Love of God manifested to the Humanity through His Son Jesus. It’s the day whereby christ gave himself totally on the Cross which manifests his deep and unfathomable love. It’s Love until the end of his life on the Cross.
The Liturgy is significant as the faithful reflected on the word of God and offering ten prayers for the needs of the world.The unveiling of the cross reveals Christ’s love to humanity. The faithful also shared in the Eucharist to strengthen their commitment with the Lord. Fr Alwin Serrao conducted the service, Fr Victor George D Souza preached, Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, Avith Pais, Gerald Pinto and uday fernandes joined the service.
After the service the faithful took out a silent procession through milagres cross road,balmatta road and mother theresa to lead to the church with the crucified body of Christ. A large number of faithful attended the service with devotion and piety.
