Chikkamagaluru, April 10: The body of Srinanda (15), a girl from Palakkad, Kerala, who went missing at the foothills of Datta Peetha, has been found. The girl had gone missing on the Chandradrona mountain range. It has been learned that Srinanda’s body was found at a depth of 2000 feet. Srinanda, a minor girl from Palakkad, Kerala, had been missing for three days.


The girl had gone missing while going to see the Manikyadhara waterfall in the evening with her family members.
Srinanda, who had come here after a trip to Hampi with 41 family members, had been happily making reels on her father’s mobile just five minutes before she went missing. Her sudden disappearance while coming down the stairs amidst a crowd had given rise to many suspicions. Now the girl has been found dead.
As soon as the girl’s disappearance was reported, rescue teams searched for her using thermal drones. More than 60 personnel from the police, forest and fire departments were divided into 5 teams and started the search.
The area where the girl went missing is a very steep area and the team searched for her in every possible way. ANF, SDRF, police, fire department and forest department personnel conducted the search. Tragically, the girl’s body was found today.
