It is the day to recognize women unsung heroes who have and are making commendable contribution towards nation building in their own unique ways. On this day we celebrate ‘Strength’, ‘Resilience’, and ‘Brilliance’ of women around the world. Eleanor Roosevelt had once beautifully said, “A woman is like a tea bag - you can't tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water.” Indeed, God has blessed every woman with so much potential, unless she takes up the challenge and tests herself, she will not realize her fullest potential. Woman’s day is not just a celebration but a reminder that there is still a lot to be done for the welfare of women in society. She has the capacity to wear multiple hats and balance every task with grace and fineness. The future is bright for women, and it is we women who can ensure that every other woman has the opportunity to reach her fullest potential. Speaking from my own personal experience, I believe that women have the power to transform society. Today, I am grateful to our Lord Jesus for His continual grace in fulfilling the vision to reach out to the children of our nation and to the poor and needy of the society.
