Puttur: Today, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath will hold a road show in Puttur city in support of Puttur BJP candidate Asha Thimmappa Gowda.

A tight police security has been arranged in Puttur in view of their arrival. He will arrive at Putthuri by helicopter at 11 am today and will land at the helipad at Mottethadaka on the outskirts of the city. Later he will arrive at Puttur Sri Mahalingeshwar Temple by vehicle. They will conduct a road show from near the main post office near the temple to the fort grounds. The jatha will start from the post office and proceed to the court road till the fort ground. In the background of Adityanath's arrival, the traffic and parking of vehicles on the main roads of the city is prohibited in view of the public smooth traffic system. Vehicle parking and vehicle movement through alternative road route District Collector has ordered.

At the time of Adityanath's arrival, traffic on the national highway from Linet Junction to Mukrampadi and from Mukrampadi to Mottethadaka was prohibited except for emergency and medical vehicles. From 11 am to 2 pm from Bolwaru Junction to Gandhikatte and surrounding roads around Kille Maidan and Court Road other than emergency and medical vehicles are prohibited. From the morning till the end of the program, parking of vehicles is prohibited on the surrounding road from Sridhar Bhat Junction to Gandhikatte and from Gandhi Katte to Court Road to Kille Maidan.

Light vehicles plying from Mangalore and Kadaba and using Linet Junction-Boluvaru-Kotecha Hall-Salmara-Purusharakatte, Panjala, Parpunja route for traveling towards Sulya and Sampya. Light vehicles plying towards Mangalore from Sullya side have been informed to ply via Papunja Cross-Panjala, Masrankatte-Darbe-Aruna Theater-Salmara-Padil-Boluvaru-Linet Junction route. According to the district commissioner's order, those arriving for Adityanath's program have arranged to park their vehicles in front of Bantara Bhawan, Nellikatte Primary School grounds in Puttur Shree Mahaligeshwara temple grounds one hour before. All shops on the route of the procession have been instructed to close. More than 600 policemen have been deployed in the city for proper security.
