NEW DELHI: Covid testing has increased nationwide after the lockdown opened. However, the number of infected people is also rising. The number of infected people in the country has crossed 1 million.

The infection was detected on a record 34,956 people as on Friday. With this, the total number of infections reached 10,03,832. The number of victims has soared to 25,602 with 687 victims in a single day. On the other hand, 22987 people were cured of infection in a single day yesterday and released from hospital.

The number of cured in the country rose to 6,35,757, with 3,42,473 people still infected.

Corona's new record: 32,695 new cases, 606 deaths in one day

The first infection was detected on January 30, 2020 in India. In the last five and a half months, the number of infected people in the country crossed the 10 lakh mark. 

A total of 8641 new coronation cases were registered in Maharashtra on Thursday. Also, 266 people were killed in the same day yesterday. With the number of deaths from the corona rising to 11,194, the number of infected people is staggering to 2,84,281, that is, 3 lakh.

In all, 4549 cases of corona were recorded in Tamil Nadu on Thursday. 4169 cases were reported in Karnataka, 2593 in Andhra Pradesh, 2058 in Uttar Pradesh and 1690 in West Bengal. Meanwhile, in the same day on Thursday, the corona cases of Maharashtra was 266, Karnataka 104, Tamil Nadu 69, Delhi 58 and Andhra Pradesh 40.

3,33,228 Covid test in 24 hours nationwide The number of deadly coronavirus infections is on the rise in the country, the Indian Medical Research Institute reported.

According to ICMR, 3,33,228 covid-19 inspections have been conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, thereby giving a total of 1,30,72,718 Covid-19 inspections to the country till date.
