On Sunday July 19, total lockdown would be in force in Dakshina Kannada district. This measure has been taken in order to regulate corona virus infection that has been spreading fast.
As usual, curfew will be in force. On Sunday, there will not be any break between 8 am to 11 am to enable people to procure provisions and essentials. Hence, the curfew which will be in place from 11 am on Saturday will be relaxed on Monday at 8 am.
Emergency services like medical, milk shops others will be available on Sunday. There will be strict no movement of vehicles on road.
