Mangalore:- As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 16 fresh coronavirus cases on Monday raising the tally to 33,804. Out of these, 286 cases are currently active. A total of 5,25,511 samples have been tested. Out of which 4,91,707 are negative. As many as 18 people were discharged on Monday, taking the total number of recoveries to 32,778.A total of 740 deaths have occurred so far, including one on Monday.
Udupi:- The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,336, including nine fresh cases on Monday. Out of these, 47 cases are currently active. Over 3,35,641 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,12,305 have turned out negative. As many as five patients were discharged on Monday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 23,100. A total of 189 deaths have occurred so far.
