Dubai, Nov 29:  The Indian Bunts Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) successfully organized a landmark business tour to Dubai, marking a significant step in fostering international business collaborations. The delegation comprised 50 business leaders from INDIA FROM diverse sectors, including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, chartered accountancy, law, diamonds and jewellery, hospitality, and more.

Industrial Visits Highlight Diverse Business Operations in UAE

The tour included visits to several prestigious industries, providing the delegates a comprehensive understanding of varied business operations in the UAE. These included:

1.  Neo Pharma - Owners: Dr. B.R. Shetty and Seema Shetty

2.  Ace Cranes - Owners:  Prasanna Shetty and Gunasheel Shetty

3.  M/s GBMT - Owner: Sujat Shetty

4.  M/s Emirates Transformers & Switch Gears Co. - Owner: T.D. Patel

5.  M/s Gemini Group - Owner:  Ganesh Babu

Each visit offered insights into advanced technologies, market practices, and opportunities for collaboration. Delegates were warmly welcomed, with this being one of the first instances of an Indian delegation visiting Dubai for such a purpose.

Networking and Community Engagement

A highlight of the tour was a grand “Meet and Greet“ hosted by Premnath Shetty at his villa, attended by approximately 90 people. The evening featured cocktails, dinner, and an engaging exchange of ideas. Eminent speakers addressed the gathering:

Dr. B.R. Shetty, a celebrated entrepreneur and epitome of success in the Bunts community highlighted the importance of the Gulf Chapter in promoting trade and supporting community initiatives.

Sarvotham Shetty, President of the Bunts Association, UAE, emphasized the unity of the Bunts community in the Gulf.

K.C. Shetty, President of IBCCI, urged the younger generation of Bunts to become job creators, not seekers.

A Shanker Shetty advocated for a unified effort to establish a meaningful body for commerce and trade within the community.

Srinath Shetty, Hon. Secretary of IBCCI, outlined the potential of the Gulf Chapter as a gateway to Middle Eastern, African, and European markets. He also said that this chamber is not only for business people but for any one and everyone who wants to elevate his career or business. He encouraged all to become a member fo the gulf chapter to ensure the body becomes a strong body.

Ashwit Shetty ,Managing director ,Engphil Trading ,Dubai was the master of ceremony for the event.

Praveen Bhoja Shetty, President of Bombay Bunts Sangha, he emphasised on Bunts which has a glorious history to unite in gulf to create a strong gulf chapter. 

S.B. Shetty vice president , IBCCI was keen that all next generation of bunts find the chamber a very useull platform to get exposure in business at a early stage. It can offer mentorship to the youth to make them a job creators

Launch of the Gulf Chapter of IBCCI

The Gulf Chapter of the Indian Bunts Chamber of Commerce and Industry was officially launched during the event. Key appointments included:

The Gulf Chapter aims to create a vibrant platform for trade and business development while fostering connections among the global Bunts community.

Canara tours and travels was the official tour organiser for the entire 4 days of business tour to Dubai.

The event concluded with a call to action for all members to join the Gulf Chapter and strengthen this dynamic body. The IBCCI envisions the Gulf Chapter as a pivotal hub for commerce and trade across key regions, setting the stage for long-term growth and success.
