Thrissur: The talented director of Malayalam cinema, R. Sachidanand alias Sachy, passed away on June 18. Sachy, who was recently hospitalized for a heart attack, has not responded to treatment and has died of heart failure, sources in Thrissur Hospital said.
Sachy has also directed a super hit flim Ayyappanum-Koshiyum and love story Anarkali. Sachy also had a driving license to convey to the society.

The 48-year-old Sachy, who died at Jubilee Mission Hospital in Thrissur, has left a huge fan following.
Sachy is a versatile talent who has been recognized as a lawyer, poet, theater artist, storyteller, dialogueist, director and producer. He was a Criminal Lawyer for 8 years in the Kerala High Court.
Two to three days ago he underwent major surgery on the lumbar region. However, it has been known that there has been no recovery since. Sachy's beautiful brain had a problem with his blood supply. Ventilator assisted breathing for the past two days.
Directed by Sachy, Prithviraj Sukumaran's favorite directorial film, Ayyappanum-Koshiyum is being remade in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. There is a possibility to remake cinema in Kannada too.
