Father Muller College of Nursing in association with Father Muller Simulation and Skill Centre hosted a pioneering National Conference on Nursing Simulation, NURSIMCON INDIA 2019 on 24th and 25th May 2019 at Father Muller Charitable Institutions, Mangaluru. This Conference aims to enhance the impact of simulation training in managing clinical emergencies, more hands-on skill training and in-depth information about how to train using simulation methodology.
The Conference was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr Alexander Thomas, President, AHPI& ANBAI, Chairperson, Health Care Sector Skill Council, Karnataka. In his inaugural address he lauded the management and the entire simulation team for hosting this Conference which is an important need of the hour in health care sector. He spoke on the importance of empowerment of the nurses and reinforced the audience to be empowered through their communication, quality patient care, competence in knowledge and practice.
Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions presided over the program , Sr Jacintha DSouza, Principal, Father Muller College of Nursing, Dr Jayaprakash Alva, Dean, Father Muller Medical College, Dr Rithesh D Cunha ,Organizing Secretary were present on the dais .
The program was well attended by eminent academicians, resource faculty and delegates over 200 from different states of the country. The Conference was meticulously planned and executed under the eminent leadership of Dr Lulu Sherif, Academic In charge, Father Muller Simulation and Skill Centre.
