Mangaluru: Lack of higher education in science can lead to lack of opportunities. To fully understand science, to benefit from it, higher education is essential, Institute for Individual Development Director Prof. Ronald Pinto opined.
He addressed the gathering during a special lecture on ‘Higher Education and Employment Opportunities for B.Sc Students’, organised by Department of Chemistry of University College Mangalore, along with IQAC in the Dr. Shivarama Karantha Hall of the college here on Wednesday. Presiding over the program, Principal Dr. Anasuya Rai said that the increase in the number of science students in the college indicates that the job opportunities in the field are increasing.
