Corona cases are rapidly increasing in Bangalore. On July 11th it was decided to impose lock down completely in rural and urban areas for one week from July 14th to July 20.
In view of this CM of Karnataka B.S. Yeddyurappa called a meeting of all District Officials of Karnataka on Monday 13th of July.
In the meeting Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa with the in-charge of District Kota Srinivas Poojary and Nalin Kumar Kateel, District Collector Sindhu B. Rupesh, along with many other officials were present, has taken all the reports of situation in the districts.
At the same time, the attendees brought to the notice of the chief ministers that the number of infected people in the district is increasing day by day, causing public and health hazards and increasing pressure on lock down.
Speaking after receiving a report on the situation in the district, the Chief Minister said, "Personally, I am opposed to the lock down and do not have the illusion that the lock down will be all right."
Thus, it is yet to be known what the district administration is going to do about the next decision on lockdown in the DK district.
A video conference was held with Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa at the Video conference, which was attended by District Collector, Minister Kota, MP Nalin and Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat Selva mani, District Police Superintendent Laxmi Prasad and others were in attendance.
