Bantwal: The academic year was inaugurated here in Loretto English Medium School with pomp and glory. The newly joined students for the class 2nd to 8th and the 1st standard students along with the Correspondent Rev Fr Francis Crasta, PTA Vice President  Prakash Vas, Parish Council Vice President Cyprian Dsouza, Kannada Medium Headmistress Sr Idoline Rodrigues were escorted by the School Principal Rev Fr Jason Monis along with the School Band. The academic year was inaugurated symbolically by lighting the lamp followed by the prayer service lead by the tutors and the students. 

Rev Fr Jason Monis appealed the students to make use of the opportunities that are available and acquire the knowledge to form a better future and to become the responsible citizens of thecountry and a proud son/daughter to the parents.

Speaking to the children Correspondent Rev Fr Francis Crasta congratulated the students for their excellence in the last year especially the students of 10th for their outstanding performance in the academic excellence. Further he said that the student life is a precious time to learn, become responsible and learn discipline in life.

After the school inauguration the renovated School office, Principal Chamber and the staff room was blessed by the correspondent.
