Mangalore:- The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Mangaluru celebrated Mahatma Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastriji Jayanti on 02-10-2020, Friday at ICAI Bhawan, Mangaluru.
On this occasion, Swami Ekagamyanandaji, Ramakrishna Math, Mangaluru, was honoured for immense contribution for ‘Swachh Bharath Abhiyan’. Stationery kits to 100 underprivileged students of Government Higher Primary School, Mannagudda and Gandhinagar.
CA S S Nayak, Chairman, CA Gautham Nayak, SICASA Chairman and other CAs and CA Students were present. On the occasion, CA Students Aditi Sarana, Anju Manoj, Ashritha, Suhas and Varun Shenoy gave a speech on ‘Remembering the Legends - Mahatma Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastriji’.
The programme was enriched by “Vaishnava Janatho” and “Raghupathi Raghava” patriotic songs by CA Students Sanjana Pai and Sahana U.
