Bangalore: On the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji the Father of our Nation and an Apostle of Peace, On October 2, Friday around 41 young people took an active part in PRAYAS: A Mega Rural Plantation Drive organized by the Lions Club International, Region IV. Around 41 young people from BOSCO YOUTH along with their animators participated in the Plantation Drive.
The young people joined hands with Lions Club and planted saplings at Kishore Farm, Manchanahalli. It was yet another opportunity for the members of BOSCO YOUTH who are guided by the motto TOGETHER TOWARDS A BETTER WORLD to pledge towards a Greener Nature. Fr. William D’Souza, the Regional Director of Bosco Youth, Karnataka, Fr. Arun Kumar, the Asst. Parish Priest of Don Bosco Church, Lingarajapuram, Fr. Anil D Sa, the Youth Director of Bangalore Archdiocese and the founder of Eco Pals and Sr. Maria Rajalakshmi, the Director of Auxilium Youth were also present for the occasion along with the youth.
