Mangaluru: IEEE International Conference on Computing, Semiconductor, Mechatronics, Intelligent Systems and Communications (COSMIC-2024)will be held on 22-23 November 2024, in the serene premises of Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management in the region of Mangaluru. 

Sahyadri has always prioritized research and innovation through various initiatives, including Synergia, Social Innovation Projects, the Sahyadri Science Talent Hunt, and hosting prominent conferences. The COSMIC-2024, one of Sahyadri's flagship events, will take place in the serene surroundings of the college campus in Mangaluru, Karnataka, India. Supported by the IEEE Bangalore Section, this international conference is set to draw experts and enthusiasts from diverse fields including Computing, Semiconductor, Mechatronics, Intelligent Systems, and Communications.

COSMIC-2024 aims to provide a platform for researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and students to come together and engage in a meaningful exchange of ideas. The conference will feature keynote addresses, technical paper presentations, and poster sessions, all designed to promote the dissemination of research findings and innovative solutions. All accepted and presented papers will be submitted for potential publication in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library (Conference Record #63293), through the IEEE Conference Publications Program (CPP).

This marks the second IEEE international conference hosted by Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management. Last year, we successfully organized the 2023 IEEE DISCOVER in collaboration with the IEEE Mangalore Subsection, further solidifying our commitment to advancing technology and research. We look forward to the vibrant discussions and collaborations that COSMIC-2024 will inspire.

Overall, 240 papers were submitted to the conference from the various locations in the country and abroad, out of which 20% were accepted for presentation during the conference, after scanning through double-blind multiple reviews. We are expecting an audience of approximately 200+ attendees, participants and delegates from diverse locations.
