Mysore , May 15: Mysore's mawthas and civil servants' children have achieved a historic achievement by climbing the 13,990 feet high Mount Kuwari Pass in Uttarakhand. With the help of Tiger Adventure Foundation, a team of 24 people has achieved success by hoisting the tricolor flag over the Himalayas.
Civil servants and mawthas from the cultural city of Mysore have achieved a historic achievement by climbing the Himalayan mountain. By doing so, they have hoisted the Indian tricolor flag over the Himalayas. This achievement was achieved by a team of 24 people, including eight civil servants' children, mawthas, forest guards and other citizens from Mysore, and is being appreciated by everyone.
The Tiger Adventure Foundation of Mysore city took the children of civil servants and the children of mawuts on an adventure and successfully completed the journey by hoisting the tricolor flag over the Himalayas.
They made a historic achievement by climbing the 13,990-foot Mount Kuwari Pass in Uttarakhand. The journey, which was started under the name of June 2025, was successful. They set a new record on May 1 by traveling through the challenging path of glaciers and storms. This journey marks the beginning of the first mountaineering by the children of civil servants, forest guards and mawuts in the history of India.
A team of 24 people led by Anil Kumar, a lecturer at Marimallappa PU College, including the children of civil servants, mawuts of Hunsur Forest Division, forest beat guards, housewives and students of the Sahayati Seva Samaj School went on a mountaineering trip.
After a mandatory medical check-up at Pipalkoti, the team reached Tughasi Base Camp on April 27 and then climbed Guling and Khullar. They also experienced minor health problems on the first day.
After that, everyone who recovered has reached their destination. The first thing the team did after reaching the destination was to hoist the flag of Bharatambe. Through this, the children of the cultural city of Mysore have achieved a new feat and added another feather to the glory of the state.
