Sahyadri : Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management librarian Shwetha Kumari K has been awarded a Doctoral Degree in Library and Information Science by Mangalore University. The research titled “Information Literacy skills among research scholars and faculty members of engineering college libraries in Coastal Karnataka : A study” was carried out under the guidance of Mangalore University Library, retired Deputy Librarian, Dr. T.Y. Mallaiah. She is working as a librarian at Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, Mangalore since 11 years.
She is daughter of Bantwal Taluk, Kolnadu Village, Mankude Babu Naik K and Sumithra and wife of Bank of Baroda Mangalore Main Branch employee Prakash Naik.
