Follow me I will make you fishers of men (Mathew 4:19)

Today's Reflection
Faith in Jesus and belief in his resurrection bring salvation. No one encounters Jesus and remains the same. Through St Andrew’s encounter with Jesus, his life was transformed. He gave up everything, his means of livelihood, his family, practically all his life to follow Jesus. Andrew was transformed from being a fisherman to being a passionately committed disciple of Jesus.

We are challenged today to such radical discipleship. We are called daily to abandon the things that hinder us from responding to the call of Christ.

QUESTIONS TO PONDER

Are we touched by His love and was filled with a passion for His Master?

Are we zealous to bring many more to the Love of Jesus?

Are we also, willing, to lay down our life, in imitation of our Master, for love of Him?

SAINT OF THE DAY

ST. ANDREW THE APOSTLE

May St Andrew intercede for us and inspire us, by his tremendous love for the Master.

As we are on the last day of November, let's thank God for the beautiful month god gave and for all the blessings he bestowed on us, for the opportunity given to us to remember our faithful departed.  Now as we have entered advent as we are preparing room for Jesus to be born. Let's resolve to make this 24 days may we too, like him, become people who “Introduce many to Christ!” just be able to celebrate  a more meaningful Christmas.

Happy Feast of St Andrew, the zealous Apostle who “Introduced many to Christ!”

God bless all the days of the week and fill it with loads of happiness and peace.
