Allipade English Proficiency Training for Teachers at St Antony English Medium School

Allipade, Bantwal: A intensive three-day English Proficiency Training Programme was successfully conducted from 25 May, 2026 to 27 May, 2026 at St. Antony English Medium School, Allipade.  

The primary objective of this initiative was to enhance the communication skills, grammatical knowledge, and pedagogical teaching abilities of the faculty.

The Inauguration
The programme commenced with a solemn prayer service, followed by a warm welcome address by the Headmistress, Sr Lavina Veigas. The event was officially inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp.

The training sessions were expertly facilitated by the resource persons, Anitha Angaline Veigas and Savitha Salian, who kept the atmosphere highly informative, lively, and interactive.

Key Highlights & Core Topics over the course of the three days, the sessions delved deeply into essential linguistic and classroom tools. Key topics included:

 * English communication and accurate pronunciation
 * Effective classroom interaction techniques
 * Core grammar concepts: Prepositions, Verbs, Reported Speech, Change of Tenses, Subject–Verb Agreement, and Active/Passive Voice
Each topic was reinforced with practical examples, engaging group activities, and hands-on practice exercises.

To keep the participants energized and focused, wholesome and delicious meals were served every day, truly strengthening both mind and body for the rigorous sessions.

The teachers participated whole-heartedly in every session and grammar drill. Expressing the collective sentiment of the trainees, Malini Sadhana Lobo and Sister Precilla Prema highly appreciated the dedicated efforts of the resource persons. The Correspondent also addressed the gathering, encouraging the teachers to actively implement these newly acquired skills in their daily classroom teaching.

The entire event was smoothly compered by Vinaya, and a gracious vote of thanks was delivered by Babitha. The training programme concluded successfully on May 27, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., leaving all participants with a deeply positive, motivating, and enriching learning experience
