Mangaluru: A new children’s organisation, the Infant Jesus Association, has been launched at St. Teresa Church, Paldane.
The association was inaugurated by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Richard Aloysius Coelho, who garlanded the statue of the Infant Jesus. Addressing the gathering, he said that the Infant Jesus is a model for all children. As a child, Jesus helped His foster father, St. Joseph, in his work and was always obedient to His mother, Mary. He urged the children to imbibe the virtues and ideals of the Infant Jesus in their daily lives.
Present on the occasion were Sr. Vibha, Convener of the Infant Jesus Association, Assistant Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Joseph Coelho, Vice-President Elias Fernandes, Secretary Roshan Monteiro, William Lobo, Coordinator of all Church Commissions, Veena D’Mello and William D’Mello.
