Government oil companies are constantly changing the prices of LPG cylinders. The new prices of cylinders will come into effect from February 1, 2026. Since the budget will be announced on the same day, there is a possibility of a big cut in this price. It is being speculated that the government may give a gift to the common man. Hopes have increased with the visit of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan last week.
The price of 14 kg gas cylinder is likely to be reduced. The price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder is constantly changing. Last time, a commercial gas cylinder in Delhi was reduced by Rs 14.50. The price was Rs 1804. It is also likely to affect the prices of CNG-PNG and ATF.
This is expected to be a big blow to those who love pan masala, cigarettes and tobacco products. According to the report, higher taxes will be imposed on tobacco products and pan masala in the country from February 1, 2026. A notification has also been issued in this regard.
According to this notification, new duties will be imposed on tobacco and pan masala products and products. Additional GST rates will also be applicable on these products. Health and National Security Cess is now levied on pan masala, cigarettes and other tobacco products.
The rules will change for FASTag users from February 1, 2026. NHAI has completed the FASTag verification process. Drivers have got a big relief as the process has been completed for cars, jeeps and vans and it will not be mandatory. Banks will remain closed for a total of ten days this month, including Sunday and Saturday, due to various reasons.
