Brazil, Feb 18: Cartoons are loved by everyone, from young children to adults. Similarly, Scooby Doo cartoons are also loved by most people, and there is no one who does not like the characters Scooby Doo, Shaggy, Velma, Fred and Daphne that appear in them. But it is a sad fact that people have used this character for theft.

The thieves had stolen mobile phones by dressing up as these characters. Undercover police had been keeping an eye on them. They have also succeeded in arresting them. But the special thing is that the police officer was dressed up as a character from the famous series Squid Game on Netflix to catch them. This incident took place in Brazil.
According to a report by the New York Post, the police have arrested two women and a man. Each of the thieves was found to be carrying at least eight phones. Police officers managed to return the devices to their rightful owners before taking the thieves to a São Paulo police station for further investigation.
According to police, gangs specializing in theft and robbery were targeting large crowds during special festivals. In March last year, police dressed as Power Rangers managed to catch a thief near Ibirapuera Park in São Paulo.
Similarly, on Valentine’s Day, a police officer dressed as a capybara carried out a drug raid in the Peruvian capital Lima, seizing 1,700 packets of cocaine and marijuana.
