An 18-year-old bride, Aarti Kumari, was shot during her garland exchange ceremony at a wedding in Chausa, Buxar district, Bihar.
Shocking incident took place on Tuesday night.
Shooter is said to be a neighbour, Deenbandhu. It is alleged that he was obsessed with her and upset about the marriage.
Aarti the bride is said to be in critical condition on ventilator support.
