Mangalore: In a vibrant celebration of classical music and cultural heritage, The Gowd Saraswat Brahman Seva Sangh, Mangalore, in association with Narayani Sangeeth Kala Kendra (affiliated to ABGMV Mumbai), is proud to organize Vasantha Sangeetotsava, an assembly of exceptional young artists. The musical evening will take place on Sunday, 15th March 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the air-conditioned Sujir C. V. Nayak Hall, Kudmul Ranga Rao Road, Kadri, Mangalore.

Vasantha Masa, the glorious season of spring, brings with it a vibrant renewal of nature, hope, and spirit.
Culturally, this season is ushered in by Vasantha Panchami, an auspicious festival dedicated to Goddess
Saraswati, the patron deity of knowledge, learning, and the fine arts. To celebrate this beautiful season of
blossoming creativity, ‘Vasantha Sangeetotsava’ has been curated as a musical offering to invoke the joyful, divine, and auspicious essence of spring through classical melodies.
The highlight of the event will be captivating Hindustani Vocal Sangeeth performances by talented young
artists, including Vidushi Nandita Pai, Vibha Nayak, Shantheri Kamath, and Vidushi Megha Pai. Adding to
the melodic evening will be a soul-stirring Bansuri recital by P. Karthik Bhat. They will be supported by
accomplished accompanying artists, featuring Shrivatsa Bhat and Rajesh Bhagwat on Tabala, and Medha
Bhat and Hemanth Bhagawat on Harmonium. A unique feature of this year’s program is the presentation
of special Konkani compositions set to traditional classical Raagas.
The organizers are also delighted to announce that Dr. Kasturi Mohan Pai, President of The Gowd
Saraswat Brahman Seva Sangh, will grace the stage to perform as a Guest Artist.
This grand cultural initiative is generously sponsored by well-wishers of the arts, including The NKGSB Co-
operative Bank, IDEAL Ice-cream, Union Bank, School Book Company, and Bharath Group of Companies.
About The Gowd Saraswat Brahman Seva Sangh:
Founded by the ancestors of the GSB community in 1939, the Sangh has a rich legacy of community service spanning over eight decades. True to its founding vision, the Sangh has built 120 apartments across five buildings for LIG and MIG members of the community. The noble traditions of providing free medical services, educational assistance, and conducting Brahmopadesh programs, which began in the earlier decades, continue to thrive today.
