Phuket: An Air India Express flight carrying 132 passengers from Hyderabad to Thailand came off its front two wheels while landing at Phuket airport on Wednesday morning.

The airport has been closed following the incident, flight tracking platform Flight Radar24 reported.
The incident occurred when the Air India Express Boeing 737 Max aircraft, which took off from Hyderabad at 6:42 am, was landing at 11.25 am, the airline said.
The aircraft, which took off from Hyderabad on March 11, came down on its front two wheels while landing at Phuket airport. Due to this, the aircraft got stuck on the runway and is being towed to a parking area. In this context, the airport operations have been temporarily suspended, informed the officials of Phuket airport.
An Air India Express spokesperson said the aircraft experienced a technical problem with its front wheel during landing. “Our crew was able to safely deplane the passengers by following safety procedures,” it said.
