Kerala: Monalisa Bhosle of Kumbh Mela fame, who was married to Farman from Kerala, is now pregnant, her husband has revealed.
On March 11, 2026, Monalisa married Farman in Kerala. Many political leaders from Kerala supported and led their marriage.
Monalisa Bhosle’s family, who had objected to this marriage, had accused it of love jihad. After that, a POCSO case was also registered against her husband Farman, accusing Monalisa of being unmarried. After these incidents, her husband Farman had filed a complaint that Monalisa was missing. Now Farman has told the police that Monalisa is pregnant.
Monalisa and Farman Khan got married in a temple in Kerala last March. In this regard, the investigation conducted by the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) revealed that Monalisa was 16 years old at the time of marriage. In this context, a case has been registered against Farman Khan under the POCSO Act.
Monalisa had earlier alleged that her family was forcing her to marry her to a cousin who was like an elder brother. She had said that Farman stood by her during that difficult time. The Madhya Pradesh Police is investigating on the complaint filed by Monalisa’s father. The Kerala High Court has issued a stay order on Farman Khan’s arrest till May 20 following the registration of a POCSO case.
The Madhya Pradesh Police had summoned Monalisa to appear before the court. Farman said that Monalisa cannot travel because she is pregnant. The police are now verifying the information given by Farman Khan that she is ‘pregnant’ through medical reports. He said that further legal action will be taken only after the report comes.
