28-year-old Indian youth Anshul Kuncha in Philadelphia was fatally shot dead on June 6, 2026 at 12.30am(Philadelphia time) was delivering pizza.
Anshul originally from Hyderbad, had completed Master’s in Business Analytics and employed full time in a MNC. For an extra income he ocassionally worked as pizza delivery shifts.
According to reports, Anshul was delivering pizza at midnight on June 6, address he was directed was a vacant apartment at Raymond Rosen Homes housing complex in North Philadelphia. Authories believe that it might be a trap to lure Anshul to location. Surveillance showed 2 men following him before he was shot.
Family members describes the incident as a deliberate trap. Speaking Ansul’s sister Tanvi said, her brother had been hesitant about moving to United State and he was intentionally lured and this was a planned murder.
Investigation on way, Philadelphia police identified the phone number linked to pizza order. Authorities announced $20000 for information leading the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
