Ramanagara, June 12: Lokayukta officials raided the Bangalore South District RTO office, and the raid was conducted in the wake of many complaints against the office. The raid was led by Lokayukta SP P.V. Sneha, and the officials inspected every inch of the RTO office. This is the 3rd Lokayukta raid in the last one year.

Daughter working instead of mother
During the raid by Lokayukta officials, it came to light that the daughter is working instead of the mother in the RTO office. It was found that the smart cards were not distributed even after 3 months and were stored in the office. There is also an allegation that work is done in the RTO office only if agents come, and despite a fight between the agents, the Regional Transport Commissioner has not filed a complaint. A darbar of contract employees is going on in the office, and it is said that RTO T.A. Satish Babu is confused by SP Sneha’s questions.
Lokayukta raid in Haveri too
The Haveri Lokayukta police have raided places where illegal sand mining was being carried out. Raids were conducted simultaneously at a total of 8 places including Nitapalli, Chandapura, Belur, Ironi Haranagiri, Kotihal and Chikkakuravatti villages in Ranebennur taluk. The raid was led by Lokayukta Police DySP Madhusudan, and about 12,779 metric tons of sand, 2 JCBs and 4 rafts were seized.
