Allipade: The Parent-Teacher General Body Meeting for the academic year 2026–27 was held with great enthusiasm and high attendance at St Antony English Medium School, Allipade.





















The programme commenced with a graceful prayer dance presented by the students, setting a serene tone for the day.
The teacher, Tulasi warmly welcomed the esteemed gathering. Following this, the Headmistress, Sr. Lavina Vegas , delivered the introductory address. She highlighted the school’s recent academic achievements, outlined future plans, and emphasized the vital role that active collaboration between parents and teachers plays in shaping a bright future for the students.
Honouring ceremony was held to felicitate the meritorious students who excelled in the previous academic year.
The Chief Guest, Balakrishna Podlar —an outstanding Kabaddi trainer and a dedicated educator —was warmly felicitated on behalf of the school, under the guidance.
A key highlight of the event was the official release of the school’s annual magazine The Antonite 2026 , unveiled in the presence of the dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest, emphasized that instead of merely focusing on how to raise children, it is essential for adults to deeply understand the unique challenges and modern issues faced by today’s youth. He delivered an inspiring talk on the Panchasopana’ approach to holistic child development, which focuses on five core pillars:
Thinking, Exploration, Achievement, Appreciation, Character Building
He stressed that a strong, supportive partnership between parents and teachers is the foundation upon which a child’s successful future is built.
Collaborative Feedback
During the interactive session, parents enthusiastically shared their feedback, expressing high appreciation for the school’s academic excellence, strict discipline, and overall functioning.
The School Correspondent, Rev. Fr Robert D’Souza, addressed the gathering and spoke about the holistic development and progress of the school. He extended his best wishes to all the parents, teachers, students, and well-wishers, and expressed his hope for the continued growth and success of the institution.
The event was well-attended by the members of the school management, the entire teaching staff, and a large number of supportive parents.
The programme was efficiently compered by Mrs. Vanitha, and a vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Soumya. The successful event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
