Islamabad, July 21: Pakistan on Saturday extended the ban on its airspace to Indian flights till August 24, the Pakistan Airports Authority said.
According to a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), the ban applies to all Indian-registered, operated, owned and leased aircraft.
Pakistan said the ban on Indian military and civil aircraft using Pakistan’s airspace has been extended till August 24.
Pakistan had restricted its airspace to Indian flights on April 23 in the wake of tensions between the two countries following the Pahalgam terror attack last year that killed 26 people.
Both India and Pakistan have issued separate Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) for the extension of the airspace ban.
